Understanding that our journeys differ as much as there are people, we ask that the Holy Spirit guides you in your selection, and that the wisdom intended for you in that selection blesses you. We end up believing it's the only reality, and our lives shrivel." Quoted from Everything Belongs, The Gift of Comtemplative Prayer by Fr Richard Rohr. If we don't find liminal space in our lives, we start idolizing normalcy. In sacred space the old world is able to fall apart, and the new world is able to be revealed. It's the realm where God can best get at us because we are out of the way. Get there often and stay as long as you can by whatever means possible. The old world is left behind, but we're not sure of the new one yet. We have to move out of "business as usual" and remain on the "threshold" ( limen, in Latin) where we are betweixt and between. "We have to allow ourselves to be drawn into sacred space, often called liminality. We are all called to find that sacred place within which brings Life. We believe that all persons, beloved by our God, are called to grow in Christ, thus becoming a fuller member in the community at large, making the Body of Christ on earth more complete. This page gives our members an opportunity to choose and read a book that has been found to be beneficial in the life of another member, family or friend.
